As part of an international cooperation project, we successfully delivered two technically demanding dry-type transformers rated at 2000 kVA and 2500 kVA, installed inside electrical enclosures located within a building, for a hydrogen application in Norway. The customer was Siemens Nederland N.V., whose representatives, Murat Yildiz and Mohamed Bahgat, personally visited our production plant. The project was evaluated very positively by the customer.
A Tailor-Made Project for Specific Requirements
This was a highly complex plug-in type solution designed to simplify installation and commissioning for the end customer as much as possible. The transformers were fully delivered inside enclosures mounted on a chassis, enabling efficient handling and precise positioning inside the facility.
Particular emphasis was placed on:
- enclosure design suitable for indoor installation requirements,
- copper HV and LV connections,
- complete connection to the marshaling box, including protection and relay settings.
Innovative Technical Features
Part of the solution included an enclosure equipped with quartz glass, enabling non-contact remote temperature measurement of the transformer directly through the glass. This solution ensures safe monitoring of operational parameters without the need to access the equipment or open the enclosure.
Flexibility Beyond Standard Design
In several aspects, the project differed from our standard design and manufacturing solution. Nevertheless, we were able to respond very flexibly to the customer’s specific requirements and adapt our production processes to fully comply with the project documentation and application needs.
This approach confirms our ability to deliver non-standard and highly demanding projects where individual solutions, technical details, and operational reliability are essential.
