SGB Regensburg dry-type transformers
Our German factory located in Regensburg produces dry-type transformers up to 25 MVA and nominal voltages up to 40.5 kV. Dry-type transformers have been manufactured here for more than 40 years and their applications range from standard power distribution applications to complex solutions in wind power plants, data centers, mines, battery depositories, photovoltaic power plants, automotive and chemical industries, electromobility, and other applications.
SBG Neumark oil distribution transformers
SGB-SMIT Group has over 70 years of knowledge and experience in the manufacture of oil-filled distribution transformers. We base our production on high-quality materials and also place the greatest importance on first-class workmanship. This results in oil-filled distribution transformers with maximum reliability in the following areas: Distribution transformers from 50 kVA up to 3,150 kVA, large distribution transformers up to 20 MVA, pole-mounted transformers, heat transformers, transformers for train preheating, earthing transformers, extinguishing coil transformers, and special inverter transformers.

Large Power Transformers
The large power transformers are manufactured within the SGB-SMIT group in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, in very modern factory where we have the ability to produce even the largest and heaviest transformers. Our unique single-winding-clamping-construction technology guarantees a high level of quality for our transformers. The development of the global power grids requires increasingly larger units with higher power and voltage. Among other things, the development of transformers is limited by their expected size and weight, as these electrical devices must be transported as a single piece to their point of use.
Medium Power Transfomers
We hardly find a problem we haven't yet solved, we can hardly find a design we haven't yet implemented, because years of experience in power transformers make you variable, create flexibility, and give you a high degree of problem-solving ability. Our power transformers are manufactured with power ratings from 5 to 100 MVA and for operating voltages up to 245 kV. For voltage matching, on-load tap changers can be supplied for max. 22% for settings of up to 27 steps, or off-voltage tap changers, e.g. for 5% for settings off the circuit.
