In January 2023, SGB Czech Trafo introduced its switchable transformer solution, which enables high-voltage switching on two levels. In the case of the German standard, that means switching between 10 kV and 20 kV. The Gravity Line switching transformer concept was fully developed at SGB Czech Trafo and independently tested in the Regensburg laboratories. The switching transformers are available from 400 kVA up to 2500 kVA.
