On Saturday, May 24th, we held our very first Family Day at the factory – and it turned out to be a wonderful celebration of what really matters. A total of 130 people joined us – our employees came with their partners, children, and extended families, and together we enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere, plenty of laughter, and lots of great moments.

Burgers, Pancakes, and the Walk of Fame

Alongside the sunshine and smiles, good food helped create a welcoming mood. A catering team served tasty burgers, and the sweet highlight of the day – pancakes – were prepared all day long by our managing director himself. We quickly agreed: pancakes from the boss just taste better.

In line with our sustainable mindset, we avoided single-use plastic and instead had washable cups made that we’ll use again for future events.

One of the most touching moments was our “Walk of Fame,” where each colleague found their own star – a symbol of appreciation for every single member of our team, not only our first director Tibor Kalman, who genuinely appreciated this gesture.

Fun and Learning for All Ages

Guests were able to explore both the production hall and the office areas, where we had set up an engaging program. Children and adults could learn how a transformer works, where it’s used, and what materials conduct or block electrical current. There were also interactive stations with simple electric circuits, transformer-themed puzzles from the Gravity Line series, and coloring pages featuring our mascot, Trafík Eda. A bouncy castle and a photo booth added the final fun touches – and everyone went home with a smile and a souvenir.

This was a day where we got to meet the families behind our colleagues and share the environment where we spend so much of our time. It was a chance to celebrate our work, our pride, and our team spirit – together.

We’re already looking forward to the next opportunity to spend time with those who support us most.
